• Mass E-mail Marketing Tips

To be in conformance with the law, and not be charged with spamming, there are a couple of things you must do:

    1.

    3. Make efforts to clearly label your email if it contains adult content.

    5. You cannot have a fake header on your email. 6. You need to offer a clear, and free, link for the recipient to ‘un-scubscribe’ and if they click on that link they should immediately be removed from your email list and you should never send them another e-mail.

    7. Having an ‘opt-in’ list is probably your absolute best shield against being charged with spam. This technique will encourage your internet site visitor to sign up to receive your e-mails. They’re giving you permission to send them mails. So as to get them to sign on to your list you can offer them an incentive like a free report or a multi part mini-course that they’ll receive over a period of a week or so. Whatever you offer them to get them to sign up, confirm it has real worth to your customer. Take a little time and develop a report which has some real price and substance to it. I am not an expert or a barrister so make sure you take a little time and learn all of the ins and outs of the CAN SPAM law so that you can ensure your company is in compliance. Don’t let the new laws scare you off from employing mass email marketing since it can be a extremely effective promoting tool for your business. If you take the time to discover what all of the rules are and then you follow them, you will be in compliance and you’ll be in a position to add lots of customers to your business which should eventually lead to more sales, and that’s what we all need.
